I miss co-sleeping with my dd. However, she is 7, sleeps all over the bed, and is okay with sleeping in her own room so I don't push it. Besides, bf stated he is not comfortable with dd climbing in bed with us at night as he usually doesn't wear much if anything at all....
it is not weird but you have to let them grow up and be normal children...try and have like 1 night of sleep over night which is where mom and the babies have sleeping bags and pillows in the living room and watching a movie spending time.....I understand the need to keep them close ...my boys are teens now and I still want them to be with me forever but I cant it i want grandchildren one day....Good luck on the choice you make that only you can make...
agreed :)

My 5 year old still co-sleeps with us (mainly me since DH is in the oil field most of the time). He alternates between sleeping in his room and with us.
Not weird at all. I have a similar arrangement with my daughter who is five except that we moved two beds into the tiny downstairs bedroom to avoid the upstairs heat. Well, that is totally true and its what I tell people, but what I often don't mention is the fact that she really wanted to sleep in my bed when we were still upstairs. She didn't really want to be in my bed, but she wanted to be in the same room. None of the rooms upstairs were big enough to put any of the beds we had together, so we bought two twin beds and moved down stairs for the summer. When fall comes around again we'll decide what we are going to do. Everyone should sleep where they will get the best sleep and if that is together, then do it.
