We have ceiling fans in every room except the bathroom and hallways.
When it's me - home alone- they are all on low. If anyone else is home - they turn them off and turn up the a/c. I like feeling the "breeze" the fans make over the coldness of the a/c.
No, we don't have fans. My dh loves them but I feel like they make the room warmer and I don't like a breeze blowing on me.
Need some Time for You? Feeling stressed? Kick back, relax & take a break. If you're a woman who just wants to have fun, here's the place :)
We have one in the kitchen, our bedroom & the boys bedrooms,
We sometimes use the one in the kitchen but that's about it ..
The boys used theirs more than we do :)

Two. One in the office and one in the living room. We use them year round to keep the air moving although during the winter there is a switch that makes it turn the opposite direction so the air pulls up instead of down. It makes a huge difference.
The office is off the master-bedroom so if the room gets too hot and stuff we can turn the office fan on winter setting and it'll pull all the heat out of the bedroom. It's very handy and cuts down on how much we need a/c.
We have them in all the bedrooms and the kitchen. We use them only when it is really hot (we are on the coast and it is pretty rare that it gets hot, so we have no a/c) or just to help get fresh air when the windows are open. When dh works the grave shift, he has the fan on while he sleeps in the day.
