nay for me. wore them once to my senior prom. i didn't like them. Pryed them off. LOL
Quoting psych_mom:Nay. I don't like the damage they do to my real nails.
Not for me. I can grow my nails and that is what I do. I have wide beds so I don't paint them either because they look funny.
I think fake nails can be cute when they are short enough and aren't in your face bold. Nothing is worse then lime green nails and the outfits you are going to wear the next week or two that won't match.
Yay for special occasions, a few times a year.
But Nay for daily use...too destructive. And too time consuming. And too expensive :p
Yay and nay. I like them if they are done tastefully (french manicure). But for every day, I'd prefer to paint my nails at home. I can do acrylics btw, I just have not not done that since bringing DD home because of the fumes. I cannot stand the smell of it anymore.
Nay. They are too hard to deal with when riding horses.
Yay and Nay
I like them for special occassions but not for every day use. My nails grow nicely so I don't worry about them to much but if its somethine really dressy or really important I'll get a french manicure done or fake nails.
My nails are on the brittle side & don't grow very long without splitting. I get french manicures for the most part when I get them done professionally, but I generally only get them done for special events or if we're going on a long trip - like a cruise or something special. I use the fake, glue on, frequently though and have gotten pretty good at doing them; people ask me all the time where I get them done! Sometimes I use the ones that are french manicured (they are my fav) & sometimes I'll use a basic one & paint it. I have small hands and keeping my nails done makes them look nicer.
