DO NOT CALL!

Do you have a time that you won't take phone calls?

For example, do you not take phone calls during meal times? after a certain time at night?

It's almost 11pm here and there's been AT LEAST 3 phone calls in the last 5 mins - all from different people who don't even know each other so I know none of them would have had a related topic.

I'm laying on the bed thinking "seriously? You can't call me during the day - don't call me when I've finally got all the kids to sleep and I'm heading there myself!"

We also don't answer during meal times. I've already told family that if it's an emergency to call twice in a row - otherwise I will not answer. The only persons that ever call me are my mother and my bff Nikki both of which text me more than call so it's rarely them calling. It's normally uncle and sister for gma which I don't answer bc it doesn't concern me.

I won't answer the phone after 9pm.

People know not to call me between 10am and 4pm (I'm sleeping) or from 6:30-10pm unless it's an emergency.  I have four kids, a husband, and a full time job.... I don't need to listen to you whine about how your flavor of the week is a jerkface.

I grew up with the rule: No phone calls (in or out) before 9am or after 9pm.  I still follow this rule.  My friends laugh at me when I call them later than that and I apologize for doing so.

I accept calls anytime. I figure if someone is calling me at 3 a.m., they really need someone to talk to. I don't want to be the one that turned away someone's last cry for help before they did something to themselves.

We did not answer the phone during meal times,
I think late at nights calls are just as bad :)

It depends on WHO it is that is calling...If it's my family(mom, dad, siblings etc) I ALWAYS answer, doesn't matter if it's dinner time or 4 in the morning...I always answer to them..OTHER people no, not during meal times or family time...

We got rid of our landline phone about 10 years ago.  We only have cells and we silence them when we don't want calls.

I don't have certain times to not accept calls, I just hit the ignore button and send it to voicemail. I mean that's what its for lol.

Lol...never? I prefer texting because talking on the phone with a one year old is difficult. I'll always answer the phone for my mom/MIL or dh, otherwise I'm selective. And my phone goes on silent for naps and bed since dd sleeps on me.
