CafeMom gave moms Shout Color Catcher and asked them to share their experience doing their family's laundry. Shout Color Catcher absorbs the colors in the wash machine, allowing you to mix dark and white clothes together.
Check out what our moms have to say about their experience. Then, tell us your trick for keeping clothes looking as new as when you bought them.

Thank you cafemom and Shout for this opportunity. I have received mine and will be doing laundry and taking some pictures today.

My 11yr old son even wanted to help me with the laundry just to see if the shout color catcher sheet changed color and by just how much. We did a load of laundry of white and yellow towels and a few of the kids t-shirts. I also added a pair of my jeans. (they are fairly new and I cant use a white purse because the ink rubs off on it).
Here is what the sheet looked like coming out of the washer.

It did have a slight color change but not enough where I was overly impressed. I think I will just continue to separate my laundry.
Thank you Cafemom and Shout for the opportunity to try Shout Color Catcher
I received mine on Friday. I was not home when they came dh was home with dd and when they saw the box was from Cafemom they couldn't wait for me to get home to open it. When they opened and found the Shout Wipes they were disappointed when I got home I was estatic.
This is dd's first year in school so I have gone a little crazy with the BTS clothes shopping and I would like to keep them looking new as long as possible because I will resale them when she out grows them. Saturday afternoon I started a load of new clothes for dd. I threw in 2 new pairs of jean shorts, a few colored shirts, a couple of towels, and dh's polo shirt with the Shout color catcher. When the load was done I was surprised and impressed with the amount of color the sheet soaked up. It went of a bright white to a blue slightly darker than baby blue and all the rest of the clothes came out looking bright.
On Sunday afternoon I started a load of just dd's clothes. She is 4 and can go through 5 outfits in a day if she is allowed so she always seems to have a full laundry basket. She had gotten a new white tutu skirt the past week and wanted to wear it but it was dirty. With her help I threw it in the washer with some of her other clothes including a purple tshirt, when I took the clothes out this time there was not as much color on the sheet as the first time but the tutu was still bright white so that was impressive.
I will definitely be buying these in the future. They very handy when you don't have a full load of colors or whites and want to combine or if you are in hurry. I like them because I have a very "helpful" 4 year old that doesn't understand how to sort the laundry yet and never fails to have atleast one colored item in with the whites. I feel like I won't have to wory as much the colors bleeding and I will be spending less money on replacing clothes.
Just got mine today and of course I already did my laundry this morning!
