School pictures!!!!!!!!!

Today is DD's school picture day! I'm so excited. 

We fixed her hair up all cute and put her in a cute shurt that DH's mom sent her. She was so excited. 

I can't wait to get the photos to order them. They are done WAY different from when i was in school. They let you choose the background you want b/c the photos are done w/ a green screen! I think that's so cool!!!

When do your kids have school pictures taken?

I think my kids have their taken in October or Novemer.. Keep in mind my son starts 3rd grade tomorrow.. Emily has kindergarten orientation tomorrow and then starts on the 4th..  So that's part of why they are done later..  Our school does them 2 times a year and then a class picture..

School picture day already?  I don't remember them doing her fall pictures until sometime in October last year.  Then her spring pictures were done I think in March maybe?

Anyway..  can't wait to see them, I'm sure she's a doll!  :)

Oh I was too. I didn't want to send her to school in a dress or anything--it's going to be HOT today. So i put her in her cute shorts and an adorable shirt MIL sent her. It's not a plain tshirt but it's not super dressy either. I don't like "over-done" pics of little kids. I want to look at it and see my lil girl, not a mini modle. LOL does that make sense?

yup. we've been in school since the 2nd & there's only one photog for all the city schools here so they have to start a little bit early i guess to get it all done before Christmas.

 That is a really neat idea.  Our school still does them the same way as when I was in school and they never turn out very good plus they are so dang expensive.  I always do my daughter's myself.  Our school has them scheduled for October.
