Proud Mama moment today!!!

Today was a proud day when Emily walked into her classroom and the teacher asked her to write her name on the board so she did.. I didn't even pay attention until a dad said to his little girl "don't you want to write you last name?" I looked and noticed Emily wrote her full name.  This cute little girl looks at her dad and says "I don't know how."  I felt bad for the little girl but SO PROUD of Emily..

YAY EMILY!!  Sorry but I'm SO proud that my daughter is entering kindergarten writing as well as she does and also reading a bit..  She's going to ROCK Kindergarten I can feel it :) However  I know she's on the older age scale but still I'm SO PROUD!!

I thought so.. I know that not all kids go to preschool before entering kindergarten and that's ok but I remember when Nick went into Kindergarten and I could see the clear difference.. At least this little girl could write her first name though.. That's better than nothing :)
