it wouldnt really bother me at all, except my DH will do nothing around the house... he is a SAHD for now which is fine... but he needs to clean a little... I have been working 64 hours a week... [[I have a part time job and picked up a full time job now too]] and getting no help cleaning... my house is still rather clean... only thing that hasnt been done is dusting... laundry is all caught up on... dishes are as well... kitchen and both of the bathrooms have been cleaned... all by me... it sucks really badly...! He wants to get his GED and get some college credits, lose some weight and try to join the miltary... but I cant help him chase these things if he wont help me with the house...!

I have, and he says he has the kids to take care of, and he cant do it all... our kids are 8 and 2... and are more than glad to help with anything you can ask them to help with... atleast my 8year old will... my 2 year old is awesome at helping when he wants to, and if he doesnt want to he will stay by you while you do what you need to do... OR you can occupy him by letting him do something fun... IE coloring, watching animal planet... he is just very independant... and the easiest kid to clean with around... idk what to do... our few friends know its been like this forever... and have been telling me to not deal with it... give him the option to help or show him the door... but I have enabled this for the past 8 years... so it doesnt even matter anymore... he doesnt care... he knows I will do it...

I have no advice really, except to stop doing all the cleaning for awhile-That's what I would do...See how long he can handle the mess before he cleans it...and if he still doesn't clean it then yes, there really is a major problem....I find it funny that he wants to do something as time/life consuming and difficult as to join the army, but can't figure out how to clean and take care of the kids at the same time...Sounds to me like maybe you have a very spoiled husband on your hands..lol...Time to break him from that :) Good luck

Yeah, he wont clean the house... and i cant stand living in a messy home... which is why I clean it... haha, it really sucks... there have been some days where I have been working on literally NO sleep because I had to catch up on the mess they made while I was at work... my kids clean their messes with toys and stuff... so its really just him being lazy and spoiled... and I hate it... he complains all the time that he hasnt gotten new clothes in such a long time, which is true... I havent either... I have gotten hand me downs... nice ones at that... but they werent new... the kids have everything they need... which is why he hasnt gotten anything new in so long... sorry we have 2 kids but that means that unless you work 4 jobs you cant buy the things you want all the time... he has a $5000 computer, a ps3... a 52 inch TV in the family room... I just cant do it all...

I fractured my elbow and forearm on Sunday and it still hurts like h**l! It is next to impossible to do my job one-handed. I am frustrated having to always ask for help for everything!
