First day of Kindergarten.. UPDATED!!!

The tears are in my eyes as my baby goes off to kindergarten.. I'm so happy for her because I know she's going to make lots of great friends but it's sad too..

Getting on that BIG yellow bus for the first time.. At least she's with her brother but man am I nervous for her...

UPDATED!!!  She had a FABULOUS day YAY!!  I knew she would and she did speak up when she needed to use the restroom which is what I was nervous about..

Awww my dd will be there next year and I know I'm going to be a nervous wreck sending her off to school.

The good news is that her teachers are all women so she's less shy around women.. HOWEVER she tends to be shy an yes that is sometimes good but I worry she won't speak up if she needs something..  I know she will get used to the routine but just the next week or two I will be nervous.. Also her bus ride on the way TO school is really short but longer coming home.  The ONLY thing I'm nervous about with the bus is that she's little and I worry she'll fall out of the seat or something dumb...  I know she'll make friends and some of her classmates are on her bus so as she gets to know them that will help too..  I'm just nervous about so many things..

We live less than a mile from the school my dd will go to. I plan on walking her to school because I dont want her on the bus that young for the same reasons as you. Lol

She looks so excited and READY!! I guess it doesn't get any easier no matter how many times you do it, does it? =(

wow!  that's a big step for a Mommy!  I have 4 kids in school...my oldest is in middle school...he wants to ride the bus, they all do...but I've never been able to do it, LOL!

we are so far from school that I think it will be good for my kids.. Also, I ALWAYS wanted to ride the bus but we lived WAY to close so, we were riders..  That's why I let them..

I was nervous for my dd last week Monday the 27th. It was her 1st day riding the bus to school and home from school:( she she had early release all last week and today is her first full day:)
