Ok so my Emily just started Kindergarten on Tuesday. Her Birthday is Sept 16th.. We are planning her party.. I wasn't going to invite kids in her class because it's so close the start of school.. HOWEVER recently I started thinking it might be a fun way to get to know other parents in the class.
I was thinking I could send invitations to school with her on Monday and just say Hey yes it's her b-day but please come and have fun, gifts are not necessary..
What do you all think????
The thing is that I don't have the space for a get to know you inside my house and it's going to start getting colder here.. So, I thought the day I rented a jump house would be more fun.. I wouldn't call it a get to know you either. I would tell them it's her b-day, presents aren't necessary, but I thought this would be a good chance for us to get together.. Does that sound strange?? Of course you know my husband is NO HELP. HE says "whatever you want dear." ahha my dad taught him that one LOL!!

Could be fun. Though I'd personally want to do a get to know you get together separately. That's just me though.
I'd go. We have no kids in our neighborhood for my son to play with so we are always looking to meet up with kids from his class on the weekends.
I would do it. It's a great way to get to know some of the families.
