When is the last time you moved?
Are you moving anytime soon?
What's your biggest tip for making moving as painless as possible?

maybe pack room by room, stay focused on that so you wont get too scattered and frustrated...good luck

Very good tip.
it is so easy to get overwhelmed if you try to do too much at one time.

It was a year ago- hoping that we don't have to move again at all. We love our house and want to stay here.

To make it as painless as possible- hire movers, lol. Really, make sure you lable all boxes and organize them. Throw old stuff out or donate it if you no longer use it or need it instead of taking it to the new place with you.

Also- if you have young kids, on the day of the move, if you aren't going out of state, get someone to keep the kids.

This was a big help when we moved out of my parents house after we got back from montana.
My mom kept the kids while we moved.
We set up their stuff firat so it wouldnt be too hard of a transition.
