Organized moms, can I see pics of your kids closets? I just got dd her first set of big girl furniture and now I have no room for her toys. I have wasted closet space and don't know where to begin with spacers and shelves :(
Please help
my kids closets are just for clothes and shoes. However :) I'm happy to find some pictures to help inspire you!
but first:
How big is the closet?
What type of toys are you needing to store?
How old is your dd?

1) declutter. Go through on a day shes a school; anything she doesn't play with or thats broken/missing pieces get rid of. You'll be suprised how much 'extra' a little one has lol
2) complete #1 then sort out the remaing toys. Group like toys together {so LPS stuff together, Stuffed animal together, etc..... this will help you see exactly what you need to store.
3) Gather your ideas and start setting things up. I'll post some ideas in the next reply :)
4) you have a freaking great space! Poteintial out the wazzoo!
in this corner I'd hang a shoe organizer... no not for her shoes but for any small toys or barbies. Hang it low so she can reach the top on her own - or if she doesn't have such an extensive collection - cut the organizers in half!
Hang with command strips :) I'm in love with command strips!

on this side I would do stuffed animal storage:
depending on how many she has you could do something like these
or could scale it down to half like
my favorite is to use wall planters. then as she grows she can use the to store purses, belts, scarves, etc.
