Poison Ivy

Does anyone know how to get rid of poison ivy in the yard? I have pine trees in front of my house. Years ago I planted azaleas in between the pines. (My gm's yard was like that.) Now I have poison ivy going up some of the trees and between some of the azaleas. Is there anything that will kill it without killing the trees and azaleas?

I think you can use roundup or herbicides strictly for poison ivy. Be careful not to spray surrounding plants. Once the plant has died dig up the plant making sure you get the roots.

Thank you! I have heard that even though poison ivy looks dead that if you handle it you can still break out. I don't know if its true or not.

Glove up and pull it up. Round up should do the trick too. Be careful.

you should always wear gloves when dealing with it.(dead or alive).
