Do people really turn on the TV to watch a Yule Log on Christmas day?

I posted this in another group, but curious what you all think too...

I saw a commercial a little bit ago about how this channel is going to have a 24 hour yule log on Christmas day....

Do people really turn on the tv to sit and watch a yule log all day?

We used to get it for free. So maybe I would turn it on while I was wrapping presents. It was lame but pretty! But now we have satellite Tv and have to pay 8 dollars, which is totally insane! But I never did it on Christmas Day. Too noisy with all the excitement.

I think they also play christmas music on that channle as well. I would turn it on for background noise if we had cable. But since we don't have cable Pandora Radios Classical Christmas station will be what we have on as background noise.

Same here.  Plus there is always someone around to talk with, cooking to do, etc.

"Lame but pretty"  - totally true.  I definitely wouldn't pay to have it on.

That sounds better to me (Pandora Christmas station).
