Home Life Home Life

What do you back at Christmas time?  Do you bake and give it as presents or just enjoy it with your family?  Do you take some to work (or does you s/o take some to work)?

Yeah that's because chocolate chip cookies are easy to make.

Quoting Light.Shine:

Hot cocoa cookies are always a hit and sometimes I bring homemade lemon drop cookies.  Those are always a good choice because it adds a little variety.  There are usually a ton of chocolate chip cookies that get brought.

Cookie swaps are really fun.  I just hate when people bring store bought stuff to swap but oh well.. It's still fun. What cookie do you usually bring to swap?

Quoting Light.Shine:

I've made sugar cookies, hot cocoa cookies, and ninjabread men so far.  I made pumpkin rolls for Thanksgiving and that's about it.  We do a cookie swap so we get plenty of other good things to try without making a mess in my kitchen every week. lol

We all love it. So I make it from fall to christmas! We stock up on pumpkins, lol

Cookies, I do mostly chocolate chip cookies. Some sugar and snickerdoodle. Only 1 batch of gingerbread, I adore baking

Peanut Butter Fudge

Rice Crispies Scotcheroos

Peppermint Bark

Normally I make some to stay here, and the rest gets packaged up tp be handed out to friends/family and for DH to take to work.  But, this year I am really trying to detox myself of sugar - outside of what is naturally found in foods - so it will all be disappearing.  My DH told me I shouldn't "bother" this time of year and just start after Christmas, which makes me want to succeed even more!
