There’s only one thing better than a kid that likes to put away her toys. That’s a kid who likes to put her toys away neatly (versus stuffing them under the bed or in the closet). These bins and boxes will make the task of cleaning room a little easier…and a lot cuter.

How do you contain all of your kid’s toys?

DIY Chalkboard Toy Box

How adorable are these DIY toy bins created by crafty mama Mandi from Making Nice in the Midwest ? To make one yourself, stick rolling wheels on the corners of a simple crate. Then, swipe a coat of chalkboard paint over them. Label your box with chalk, or let artsy tots create—and recreate— mini masterpieces on the sides.

It may be made out of fabric, but this adorable chest’s cardboard-reinforced sides help make sure it stands at attention when empty (or when a tot dive-bombs on it). Bonus: Unlike other fabric containers, this one comes with a lid so that all toys can be kept out of sight—but not out of mind.

Think a race car-inspired bin will help kiddo pick up his toys faster? Perhaps. Either way, it will look really cool in his room. Bonus: The reversible lid can be used as a hilly raceway for die-cast cars. Double bonus: This bin makes for a funky laundry basket, too.
