Got some huggie coupons in the mail today and it had this with it i figure someone could use it if they make or want to make their own baby food

Make Your Own

peas, sweet potatoes, squash and carrots are delicious and easy to puree. Just cook them up and get out the blender.

Quick-baked sweet potatoes

sweet potatoes(or yams) are always yummy, but baking brings out their natural flavor best

1 wash and poke holes in the sweet potatoes(keep skins on)

2 soak them in water for 5 min

3 wrap them in tin foil

4 place in a 400 degree oven and bake for 30-40 min, the water helps them cook quicker

5 slit the sweet potatoes lenghtwise when cooled, then scoop out the "meat"

6 thin if needed with stock or water

Easy portions

fill an ice cube try with freshly pureed fruits and vegetables and freeze. you can always pop out a singel portion, reheat and serve
