It is the latest "thing" to wear mismatched socks.  Some girls wear two pair of socks on each foot even, sort of "layering" the look.

my niece is 6 and wont wear anything that matches anymore. she said she looks like a blob of color if she does. she lives in VT so she just prefers to wear camoflauge now lol

 Interesting...my dd has mild autism and adhd/anxiety/odd...I thought it went along w/ her dx!

I've heard of girls layering their socks...that's just weird. The only time I did that was when it was cold and I was out playing in the snow! I wear mismatched socks all the time. That's mostly because I buy colorful socks in packs and my dryer eats them. I never seem to be able to keep both socks in each pair so I just put them with other ones. I don't see a big deal since no one really sees your socks anyway. But yes my daughter loves to wear mismatched socks to. That might be my fault though :)

hhhmm, I have boys and they could care less what they wear...so I still hand the clothes to them that I want them to wear

I celebrate when I have a match for every sock when I'm folding them out of the dryer   LOL  doesn't happen often

I haven't noticed that style...I'll have to start looking and see if that is popular around here

I do...they were bulky and bright?  I had them  :)     wore them with these shoes that I saved and bought with my own money- I can't remember the name of them but they were different color penny loafer type shoes- I loved those shoes- I can still see them in my head
