I wasn't able to breastfeed because I didn't have a enough milk coming in a week after having my son and what did come in wasn't enough to feed him and it wasn't enough to pump to make a bottle.

No, I bottle fed both of my bio kids.  The first one was born in 12/71 and breast feeding was just starting to come back into style. I thought about it, but my dh was a cop and every 2 weeks he switched between 3 different work shifts; I thought that feeding our baby would be something he could really do.  He did and he really enjoyed it.  No matter what shift he was working, you could always count on our son needing to be feed when daddy was home!  Then when I had my daughter, in May 1989 ... I had married my 2nd dh by now, I also choose to bottle feed.  This time there were a couple of different reasons: 1) we had 4 teenagers we were raising and a very hectic schedule with school activities and sports; 2) those 4 teenagers could be a huge help with feeding; and 3) I was not going to go hide in a car or put a blanket over myself so I could breastfeed my baby at our sons ball games!!  Our older kids loved feeding their baby sister, as did all our other family members & friends - hubby & I had to fight for time to do it at times!  I've never ever regretted bottle feeding either of my bio kids.

I did both, breast fed my oldest til 4 months when stress and other factors caused me to dry up, my middle the entire first year, little bugger didn't even eat solid food, it was all me all the time, and my youngest I did for just about 8 months when he weened himself.
