Ok, I am 5 months pregnant and have done many many google searches for my problem with no success. It started when My breast started leaking milk 1 month ago. Right before my breast leak I know they will leak because I all of the sudden get an overwhelming feeling of sadness and uncontrollable feeling to cry and it last for about 15 seconds and then goes away and when it does like clock work my breast start hurting then start leaking. Why do I feel this discomforting feeling of sadness and so emotional I'm ready to cry for it to all of the sudden just disappear and my breast to start leaking?

It sounds like your hormones to me.  You might ask your OB at your next appointment.

Thank you all for helping me. I see my ob on thursday so I will def. Ask her. I am hoping it is hormones. A few of my friends tell me it can be early on postpartum depression, I've never heard of someone having I before having the baby, but thought it could be a possibility, so it scared me a little. Thank you guys so much for your help. Xoxox

Postpartum means AFTER birth.  If you haven't given birth then you can't have Postpartum, your friends are wrong.

You may also want to check into the prenatal that you're taking...  It's definitely hormones.  LOL  I didn't get sad or have leaky breasts (this must not be your first pregnancy?) But I was SUPER HAPPY all the time...  That is, when I didn't have my head in the toilet bowl....  I had a lot of complications that even led to bed rest, but I think it was the happiest time of my life...  I was happy that I was pregnant, but man, I was like drug happy...  Hormones...  Then on the table for my c-section, they had me shaking like a drug addict looking for a fix...

I'd have to go with hormones too. I would tear up over something as simple as a commercial. Just try to take it easy....Peace

hormones..i once sobbed after accidently breaking an egg...dont pump ur breasts or try to get the milk out yet either thats just gonna make them more engorged or "ready" to feed the baby and they will begin to produce milk as if ur nursing..talk to the ob and see if there is a natural way to level the hormones avoid antidepressants as there may be some links to autism.. i took them 10 yrs ago for prego depression and my 10 yo is mild autistic
