Depends. If my mom is cooking, then of course it is her red chili con carne with homemade tortillas. There is just something about the smell of her home, the meal, being there with her and the flavors that cannot be duplicated by me or any of my siblings.

If my boyfriend is cooking my fav meal is his quiche. He makes the flakiest crust and everything in the custard has an amazing mouth feel and flavor. He always makes two, a quiche lorraine for he and I and a black forest ham and cheddar for the little one. MMMM...!!

Now if I am cooking I tend to cook meals that are rustic and one pot. I turn to my trusty mushroom gravy, pan fried chicken over jasmine rice recipe. It's super easy and so comforting, I like to make it on nights that are busier than others.
