May the 4th, Cinco de Mayo *rewrite*

Posted by   + Show Post

Do you celebrate anything on May 4th or May 5th? May the 4th is considered a Star Wars thing and May 5th is Cinco de Mayo.

When I lived in California I used to go down to Southern Cal with friends, we'd partake in the parades and festivities, one year we went to Tijuana.  But I was young and single back then LOL.

You get to do so much more when you're single and no kids, huh? I never go out on nights I know that drinking is the main festivities. The older I get, the less patience I have for young, drunk college kids...LOL

I don't celebrate either one. My son and dad on the other hand love May 4th. They were discussing their plans last night, lol. With our home schooling stuff, I'll recognize CInco de Mayo and we might do a project but that's about it. I already cook Mexican food about once a week so that wouldn't be anything new, lol.
