When Shannon was little I began our "slumber party" nights. That was also the "day out with daddy" which came the next day. Wherever daddy went Shannon went, all day. She where certain items were in Lowes and Home Depot LOL. She enjoyed watching tennis and raquet ball (her dad's favorite sports) and all day long I would sleep late, soak in a tub, super condition my hair, shave my legs, take a nap or two LOL. Of course daddy didn't mind because once Shannon was in bed, daddy got his LOL
Things that I do to Relax:
- i take a few minutes to read a couple of pages of my book a couple of times during the day while my daughter is napping or busy playing.
- bubble bath with a glass of wine when the kiddo is down for the night.
- 5 minute stretch sessions energize me through out the day.
- My SO and i watch shows on Netflix or catch a movie off the On Demand. We make a date night to do it.
- Play a computer game for an hour at night when the kiddo is sleeping.
- We go outside to play. My daughter will toddle around to explore and I can read a book and still keep an eye on her. The fresh air and sunshine does both of us some good.
I used to love walking but unless I get a permit to carry it's just NOT safe! Saginaw was #4 I believe on the top 100 most dangerous cities in the U.S.. So I love to put on one of my favorite CDs crank it up and either dance around the house or close my eyes and enjoy kicking back in my rocking chair
