What are your personal fears?

I'll go first.

I'm afraid that I will continue on in two dead end jobs and miss a lot of my daughters childhood because I work so much.

Afraid of something happening so my young adult kids are not happy with their lives or feel sad and lonely or unfullfilled in some way or anything along the lines of not having quality of life they deserve

torturously afraid and ashamed of what I will have to answer for (all my mistakes and failings and shortcomings and things I chose to do wrong and sins I committed and people I have hurt either intentionally or not intentionally    but either way seriously deeply regret and am ashamed of now and thinking of what I will have to go thru in the afterlife bc of my past "stuff" keeps me up at night in fear.

Why do most of us fear being a less than great mom?  I guess that is a good thing-something that we strive for, but I always worry that I am screwing up my daughter with every decision I make or word that comes out of my mouth.
