I've been in mine over 15 years and I swear every year is my last. We built it and I'm grateful for it, but have never pictured myself being here FOREVER. I don;t necessarily need a bigger house or anything, just a different one in a very different place.
What about you? Are you planning to move or are you happy staying put?
No. We are hoping to find a place that is a little bit bigger, soon.

Oh HELL NO. When I first moved in here while I was working it was only termporary (or so I thinght) Shannon came to sstay with me and we were preparing to move to a better place and then the economy got flushed and my job got downsized...last hired, first hired. Hopefully I'll be in Texas this time next year. I'm not looking for a "forever home" If I could I'd get an RV and become a "traveler"
Yes. We moved to this house last summer and it'll be the boys' childhood home. I told my husband I'm never, ever moving again.
Dh wants to turn it into a cape cod, It's a ranch right now.
We brought our house before DD was born. Dds room is small, there's no attic and the bassment is pretty much a hole. There's no storage. It's a 15 minutes to pavement (longer in the winter) , so even going to the grocery store is a 30 minute drive.
We want to move to the u.p. close to his reservation but there's really no jobs up there and It's 4 hours from friends and family. (Not that we see them all that often). Plus I hate driving in the snow, we get some down here but they get like 20 feet, where he wants to move.
Ah, No way! I need to get to the beach...... I cannot stand living in this area much more! Everyone here is rude, way to much traffic, way to much crime. Last night my husband scared some guy away who was trying to break into are neighbors car! I would just like a medium size little house by the Ocean. I hope my dream comes true cause if I stay around here much more it's gonna do me in......
I am in my forever house. It's a very special place to me, although I wish it were bigger. Still I am happy here.
