Regardless of the behavior factor I think the metal ones are extra unhealthy anyway so anytime any of my kids had to get a filling I had them get the non metal ones just to play it safe. If the non metal ones turn out to be unhealthy too over time at least I TRIED to protect them with the choices I had at the time.
I've never had a cavity or filling in my entire life. : D YAY ME lol

I don't know a dentist out this way who would even think of using silver fillings, ceramic is not a cosmetic selection anymore. At least that's the way it is here.

I'm relieved and glad to hear that ... sadly that is not the case everywhere, or at least just 1 to 2 yrs ago when my kids were still getting fillings, as a matter of fact the silver ones were covered by insurance bc they are cheaper and you had to pay a little bit (not a lot) extra to get the white ones which I felt was worth it. Unless it was for front teeth then the white ones were covered all the way but I didnt want my kids to have any silver ones. Hopefully they iimproved that and changed that more to what it's like in your area now this past year or two. Not sure bc my kids are grown up now.

If the only BPA you were ever exposed to were the fillings in your teeth, I don't think anyone would notice anything about their health, mental or physical. However, when you add up all the BPA you take into your body every day, yes I do think it has a very negative effect.
