I never wanted to be anything when i was young... even in high school i still had no clue. went to cosmo classes did that but got bored a few years into it.
I am a special effect make up artist now, I love every minute of it.
most children dont dream about that cuz they dont know what it is.
blood and guts are where its at for me.
I didn't know what I wanted to be because back in those days girls were only given certain options, nurse, teacher, child care giver, maid, secretary. It wasn't until the late 60s that women went from being just secretaraies and got into data entry, there were a few who knew keypunch but not a lot. That started out as a male oriented position. So I had no clue what I wanted to do until I became a keypunch operator and then into data entry, me and keyboards were a match. Had I known about forensics I probably would have gone in for that, except my mother would figure there was something "Wrong" with me because I would be dealing with crimes and the dead.
If I may ask , what year where you born in? I ask because I love the way I was raised and my mom raised me old school. The only way she knew. She was born in 1933 and her mom in 1908. Neither believed in letting their children be raised by the world.
