Ehats your favorite zoo and why?

I use to love the Philadelphia zoo but things have changed so much and they have gotten rid of some anmials that i'm not a fan of there zoo anymore. I would love to go to the cape may zoo.

I like the Omaha Zoo (I don't know the actual name) but seeing as we live in Michigan we don't really go there haha.  Around us I like Binder Park Zoo- mostly just because you get to feed the giraffes haha.  I would like to go to the Detroit Zoo soonish but it is a 2 hour drive one way for us.

I've been to many many zoos around the country and my favorite one is still close to home.  Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo.  It's just awesome!  The aquariums (along with the large walk-under one), rainforest, underground nocturnal exhibet, desert dome (looks like a ginormous clear golf ball), petting zoo... it's all just amazing and beautiful :)

Yes!  That's the one! I knew there was something more to the name.  My sister and her family live there so I have been once but we haven't been able to take my daughter yet, hopefully next year!

I live in Lincoln (40 minutes away) and we go at LEAST once a year.  LOVE it!  Idk if this is accurate, but I"ve heard that Omaha and San Diego zoos run neck and neck every year for best zoo in the US. :)  They will be adding on in a couple years.  They used to share the parking lot with Rosenblatt Stadium (former home of the College World Series).  That will be demolished this fall, and the zoo will be adding on where the stadium is.  Not sure what they're putting in, or when they will start construction, but I'm sure it will be the same amazing calibre one has come to expect of HDZ. :)

 I have only been to the National Zoo in D/C..... It's pretty cool it has the Panda's! Love the Panda's :)

My favorite zoo is The National Zoo in Washington DC, I prefer it over the closer Baltimore Zoo because it is free.

i agree the national zoo if fabulous bu i think san diego zoo wins, especially if you include the wild animal park in escondido
