I hear people say that it is when they're on some crime show explaining why they helped their family member get away with a serious crime and I can't help but think "Not me!"
I don't care if you're my sibling, parent, grandparent or whoever else. Don't come to me when you break the law. I'm not hiding you out. I'm giving you to the count of 10 before I can get to the phone to let the police know you showed up. I have a husband, kids, pets, etc. to worry about and I'm not going to jail just because you did something stupid.
I was watching a crime show and this kid got 13 yrs for his crime and his friends got 9 for helping him get away!
Would you be willing to do 9 yrs for helping someone escape for a couple of months?
No, I wouldn't be helping them out. In fact, I told my children, if they ever get stopped by the police, or caught doing something....DO NOT CALL ME.

No way! I agree with you!
Can you imagine standing there in jail and everyone is talking about how many people they killed and you're like "Why am I in here? I drove my son to the bus station..."
