I just got a call from my son who is in Texas at BMT. Adam had a wonderful family in San Antonio Texas to adopt him for Thanksgiving dinner. I am so Thankful for this family who took my son in for a day to be with there family. That really meant so much to me for someone to do this for him.

My son went to a Thanksgiving dinner at a fire station, He said he had a lot of fun, The people in Texas were so nice to him.
I remember driving to his BMT graduation. I it was a long ways from Montana to Texas. But the people were so friendly. I really enjoyed the trip. I wish all families could make that trip.

I know I wish I could go to Adam's graduation but there is no way we can. Thanks to the economy now. But he knows his ole Mama will be thinking of him and waiting for him to return home some day for a visit.
Adam said the family who adopted him for Thanksgiving was just so nice to him. I really do thank them for what they did for my son.

That was so nice of them! I hope he had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My husband volunteered for the Adopt an Airman program, but there were not enough airman that signed up so they canceled it. I'm glad there are programs like that though because there are a lot of single airman that have no place to go for the holidays.
