I was seeing by best friend off at the airport today. I do not know who's son the airman was. He was standing in line alone to check through security. His uniform was so crispy new. He reminded me so much of my son that I had sent off from the same airport to his first first base after BMT. I remember standing at the lower gate as I watched my son walk up the stairs to the departure gates. I wanted to cry because the young airman was alone. But know that I thank him for serving and said a prayer for his safe return home from what ever his assignment he was going to. Maybe some one was parking the car and would be soon joining him but I could not let him go off with out a prayer
