My husband went on a deployment this year (his first) and we were nervous on how it would effect our taxes. We've heard that it either helps or screws you over. Whats your ladies experiences?

When my DH was deployed any money he made while deployed was not counted as income, or "tax free"  I would think any money that does not count as income would help.  Hope this helps.
