The New Year is going to be great for our family!!

My youngest son has been trying to join the AirForce for over the past year and 1/2. Finally on Monday he will be going to San Antonio for basic.

I was there 25 years ago at this time so I am very proud of him. Both my husband and I are veterans and our older son is in the Army. He just got back from a tour in Afgan and is stationed in CO.

My son is excited for this opportunity to start a new life and career.

Congrats to your son. We really enjoy Air Force life and feel very blessed by everything its given us.

Congratulations to your son.  My husband joined the AF a little over a year ago.  We are actually stationed at Lackland now.

Dh has been in the USAF for 7 yrs , the USAF has been good to us.
