I just wanted to take a moment here to share with you:

Five years ago today, my husband's cousin was killed in Iraq. I never got to meet him while he was alive, but I did get the humbling honor of thanking him through the flag-draped coffin.

I've always been proud of and thankful for the men and women who serve our country (and their families as well) and today, I mourn with his family the loss of a great son, brother, husband, friend, hero.

Thank you, Josiah Hollopeter. May you rest in peace.
