For those of you who did or want to find out the gender of your baby, did you/do you have something creative planned to share the news?

We didn't do anything creative when we found out. Just called everyone and told them.

We told those that we see everyday. But then just put it up on facebook. Nothing special

But I have a couple friends who did some creative things.

One revealed the gender through her maternity pics. A bunch of pictures of her family and the belly and everything. And then the last two pictures were just of her with one had on her belly, and the other holding up 3 blue & 3 pink balloons. And the last picture was of her letting the pink ones go, and keeping the blue ones to announce she was having a boy

And I have another friend who baked a cake and covered it in chocolate icing so you couldn't see the color of the cake beneath. Then, when she had family over for dinner, she cut open the cake and everyone saw the pink cake and knew she was having a girl!

1 mom liked this

We found out as soon as we could, I think I was about 16 wees.  We didn't do anything special, just told everyone she was a girl and showed the ultrasound pics.  My grandma didn't believe she was a girl though so she ended up paying for a 3-D ultasound a few months later, but she was infact a girl.
