So having a girl and so far bf only liked 2 names I came up with so trying to work around that, but just realized Mila might sound a little too much like Mia. My cuzns dd is Mia and I don't want a name that sounds too much like it although I just love the name Mila, I need some opinions. Too much like it or keep it..?

If you like the name go with it. The more you worry about what others think and all that the more stress this will cause. All that needs to be pleased is you and the father :).

I say if you like it, stick with it.  I really wouldn't worry about whether it sounds too much like someone elses name or not.

And just for the record, I love it, Mila is very cute!

Well I'm big on not wanting it sound the same I'm the one that brought it up and said everyone has the same names if u actually think about it and if it's not the same then it's almost the same for example janessa and jennasy idk how to spell the sec name but I didn't want that..but now that I thought about it I worried about that I really like it but I'm not sure it sounds similar then it doesn't at all..

 The problem with wanting a completely unique name that doesn't sound like anyone else's name, is that you're going to have to resort to wacky names like Pilot Inspektor or Kyd (wierd celebrity names). I certainly understand you not wanting her to have the same name as everyone else, and like 3 other kids in her class with the same name - or at least one other kid with a name so close that the 2 kids don't know which one is being spoken to. But at the end of the day, what it comes down to is whether or not you like the name. You're always going to find people who agree with your decision and people who disagree with it. There's almost always going to be at least one more person with the same name, or at least with a name that sounds similar. So I would suggest finding a name that you truly love and just forget about everyone else! :) Good luck!

I kno ppl are going tO have the same names I jus don't want the same name as someone in our fam bkuz I dot like it but I have had two friends with my name and I didn't mind it but I kno if I had a family member with the same name I'd hate it..this is all but with a fam that has lots of girls and like to name similar I'm just afraid that if i pick something they will name the next girls after her I wish try werent like this but they are..
