We all, of course, love the gifts everyone gives us for our LOs. Most of the time they are cute or helpful but every once in a while you get a dud lol

What is the worst gift someone has given you in regards to your LO?

Well, coincidentally, he got one of the worst gifts just yesterday. LOL his bday is on Wednesday and his party was yesterday. He got the fart gun from Despicable Me as one of his presents! LOL So now DH and I make sure he isn't lurking in corners, ready to aim that thing at us! ;)

That's too funny!! Does it make sounds or smells or both?

DS has one of those. He got it from his grandma and he's touched it, maybe once or twice...such a waste. I'm probably going to take it to the ARC up the street for donation. :-/

My MIL bought dd a cardboard playhouse that you can color and paint for Christmas which was all good until a few months later when it started falling apart, now I have to convince dd that it's time to throw it away :(

and they take up so much space for a toy that doesn't get used

My sister gave him a cap gun with the actual caps to fire. I didn't care too much about the gun itself, but the caps are a no-no for me as so many kids get hurt from putting them in their mouths. I serioulsy could have punched her.

BIL bought DS a giant nerf gun, which is fine, but the little nerf "bullets" look like actual bullets and the gun is fairly realistic, except it's blue. DS was walking around the house "shooting people". Heck no! He isn't quite old enough to understand why that is bad, or for us to explain the proper way to use it, so it's now hiding in my closet, for a later day...

I can't think of any specific toy. I do know I always cringe when he gets something that makes noise though.
