Peekaboo!

I've been playing peekaboo with my baby for forever, but only recently has he been able to play back. Since he was about three months, I started playing peekaboo. It made him laugh and smile just to see my face pop out from behind my hands.

And now at eight months, he can play right back with me. The first time it happened, I thought it was coincidence. He pulled his blanket up to his face and then pulled it down quickly to show me a big, big smile. Now he does it all the time.

It's one thing to play with your baby and then it's another to have them actually play back with you. Just goes to show that they are listening and watching everything you do. You are they're first teacher!

Moms, did your baby ever play peekaboo with you? How did you react the first time it happened?

I loved peekaboo, and to hear them laugh was such a joy. We played lots of games like that, such as the little piggy one with the toes. Babies are so easily amused.

They both played, but enjoyed hiding behind things more and popping up and saying peek!
