Does your baby sign? Dd can say please and eat. She learns so quickly.

We used Sign Language with DS when he was little because his speech was mildly delayed. At one point he was signing almost everything but once he started connecting the words to the signs the signs started to taper off. He still uses the sign for "Sorry" but that's about it.

No, dd was very verbal early on so we didn't ever try it with her.

Dd does have a lot of tantrums. I know what she wants, but I don't want her to think that throwing a tantrum will get it. So the signing is helping in that aspect.

We don't do sign language. Sometime's he'll use gestures instead of speaking though. LIke he'll rub his tummy if he wants something to eat. But he's so vocal that he can communicate this verbally if he chose to.

That's good. Dd just screams, although I know what she wants .... She needs to express it dofferently

How did she communicate with you when she was young? Tantrums are not working for is.

Quoting cassie241986: We never did sign language with dd.
