How does your little one handle storms?

Last night we had a really bad wind storm. Dd was scared and didn't wanna lay down and go to bed. I don't really blame her, it was loud and you could hear branches hitting the house. And the power went out. So she got to get in bed with us to comfort her and keep her warm.

It was a lot louder in her room than ours. But it must be scary when you don't really realize what is actually going on. And she didn't have her humidifier blocking the noise since we had no power.

Dd loves storms, she thinks they're exciting. We got a huge storm in yesterday but we ended up bing in an area that didn't get hit especially hard. Dd was crying because she wanted the power to go out and we didn't get any thunder lol.

Yea it's definitely scary for little ones, since there not sure what's causing all the noise.
