Do you have a min. Time that the kids need to stay in bed?

Here it's 7am. If dd is restless before that time I let her snuggle in my bed until seven. As likes to get up between 5/6 to play. But letting him know we don't get up until seven, he is actually sleeping in until about 8. Which is great because he needs his sleep.

last night ds got up at 10Pm didn't let me sleep for long. Then I got him back down after dh went to take a shower. Then was up at 1am. Told him to go back to sleep and he did. Then was up at 430am. Told him again to go back to sleep. Up at 7am told him to give me 30 to sleep then he slept till 830am.

Lol... I wish. Mine is in our bed so when she's ready to wake up she'll get out of bed. During the week she often gets up with me at 5:30. Weekends she is a little bit better, but is still up around 7-8.

On the Saturdays that I don't have to work and on Sundays, each and every time I try to convince DS to sleep till 9; it never happens. LOL he's almost always up at 7:30. But he DOES stay in his room until 8:30-8:45; he reads and plays quietly.

We've had the rule of staying in bed until 7 on the weekend for a few years now... Helps everyone to get some necessary sleep!

Right now I've been trying to tell him he can't get up until the sun is up. Lol. But generally as long as he sleeps until 7 i won't try to force the issue. He's always been an early riser.

Ss only sleeps late late if she was up all night lol, so it's not really sleeping in.
