I have made a few freeze ahead crock pot meals before, but I am currently out of ideas. Does anyone have any ideas for a picky eater?

What are they picky about?

She loves to eat junk food and fast food. She really doesn't like vegetables. She likes fruit, but I don't know how to incorperate that into an entree. I want to make healthy home cooked meals, and don't want her eating McD's like she's used to.

My DD isn't picky but she loves crockpot pot pie. I just do chicken, cream of chicken soup, a bag of frozen mixed veggies and noodles.

What about a sweet and sour chicken with pineapples?  I don't have my own recipe but I did a search and saw some ;)

The pot pie idea sounds good :) .

I'll see if she likes pineapple. I'll have to try it.

Here's one she might like.I use very lean ground beef. You could also use ground turkey.

This super easy recipe uses just four ingredients, and are cheeseburgers in the form of Sloppy Joe sandwiches.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 4 hours

Chockpot Cheeseburgers

1 lb. lean ground beef

1/4 cup ketchup

1-2 Tbsp. yellow mustard

2 cups cubed pasteurized process American cheese

10 hamburger buns

Cook ground beef in large skillet until thoroughly cooked, about 5 minutes. Stir frequently to break meat up into small pieces. Drain beef thoroughly.

Combine in slow cooker with ketchup, mustard, and basil and mix well. Add chopped onion, if desired. Top with cubed cheese. Cover crockpot and cook on low for 3-4 hours. Stir beef mixture gently. Serve beef mixture in hamburger buns. 10 sandwiches

This soup has the flavor of hamburger, but also has vegetables. You couild also blend up the vegetables before they go in the crockpot, to make them less visable.

Creamy Hamburger soup

1 lb ground beef
half a large onion diced
12 oz can v8 juice
10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
10 oz can cream of celery soup
16 oz pkg frozen mixed vegetables
salt and pepper to taste

Brown beef and onions and drain grease. Combine all ingredients into crockpot. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hrs

This is also one that many kids like

Crock pot Salsa Chicken

4 to 6 chicken breasts

32 oz. salsa (2 16 oz. jars)

1 15 oz. can corn, drained

1 16 oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed

Lay chicken pieces in bottom of crock pot. Top with rest of ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until chicken is done. Serve with rice, or with flour tortillas, sour cream, black olives, tortilla chips, etc.
