I would like a sangria and margarita recipe for sure but not limited to that!
Quoting SweetLuci:You can always use frozen strawberries as well as frozen bananas. If I know I'm going to use them in a frozen drink, I hull the strawberries, slice the bananas and place them on a sheet pan to freeze, then add to ziplock bags. Use less ice this way. You can use Cointreau and triple sec interchangeably.
Quoting Terri441:we've been mixing 50% corona and 50% smirrnoff ice or mikes hard lemonade.
when Tim first poured me one I thought "what in the heck are you doing?" but it's really good.
And totally 7 somewhere.

Oh I'm going to have to try this, we have some here actually. Is it 7 o clock yet? Lol

The Peachy Keen Slush recipe in the Recipes forum looks delicious. It reminded me how much I like peach bellinis. So, I guess I do drink things other than beer. I don't have a recipe for the bellinis, though.

I love making sangria. It's so simple to do. Here is the recipe I use.
- 1 (750-ml) bottle red wine
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange flavored liqueur (recommended: triple sec or Grand Marnier)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 orange, thinly sliced
- 1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 unwaxed apple, cored, and cut into thin wedges
- 1 (750-ml) bottle sparkling water, chilled
Directions
Combine everything but the sparkling water in a large plastic container or glass pitchers. Cover and chill completely, 1 to 2 hours. When ready to serve, add the sparkling water.
