I can't wait for the coupons and gift card to arrive. I'm pretty sure I'll break out the venison ribs and the homebrew I've been saving for a special occasion, get the family over and make it a working bbq. A day on the farm makes anyone hungry for a bbq.

Got mine in the mail today and was SOOOOOO EXCITED!!! For my meals, i like to change up recipes a little for extra flair or try a new seasoning. So far i haven't had any complaints! ;))

I picked mine up yesterday and I'm hosting a BBQ/cookout today. Guests should be arriving around 4pm. I'm serving BBQ chicken on the grill, grilled green beans (made with a couple pads of butter and this steak seasoning I picked up at this little Amish store by us.. All wrapped up in foil), fruit salad, romaine salad, deviled eggs, potato salad, macaroni salad, and brownies with cherry cream cheese frosting for dessert....

For the Suddenly salad I bought the classic kind, and did one batch plain, and another batch with crab meat stirred in...

Taking a break from cooking right now to nurse dd then it's back to the kitchen... :)

I'll let everyone know how everything goes later :)

We had our barbecue today and unfortunately we ended up getting rained out, but we served hamburgers, hot dogs, macaroni salad, potato salad, baked beans and classic suddenly salad. The suddenly salad was a big hit with everyone. I personally loved how easy it was to make. There are so many things to prepare when having a barbecue that it was nice to have something so simple. We didn't add anything to our suddenly salad this time, but we will be trying the other varieties and my dad has some plans for the classic as well. I was surprised my boys liked it because they are picky eaters, but that was the only thing they finished besides their burgers. I am more picky than they are and am sorry to say I didn't really care for it, but I was the only one in a family of picky eaters that didn't.

 What did you serve at your BBQ/get-together? For the adults we had steak, Suddenly Salad,  corn on the cob, and potato salad. For the kids I grilled some hot dogs (since it was a birthday party/pool party)

·What Suddenly Salad package did you use? I used the Rach & bacon flavored!!

·How did your family enjoy the Suddenly Salad mix? Let's just say we didn't have any left overs.

·What other food did you serve with your Suddenly Salad mix? For the adults we had steak, Suddenly Salad,  corn on the cob, and potato salad. For the kids I grilled some hot dogs (since it was a birthday party/pool party).

I got my coupons and gift cards last week, but wasn't able to use it over the weekend. Dh and I are having the suddenly salad with grilled steaks tonight. I chose the ceasar flavor, I've always like ceasar pasta but haven't had luck making it in the past so I thought it would be awesome if this worked out. I also got the italian flavor to try another day this week. Verdict: it turned out pretty good! It was really easy to make and tastes great. I definitely see myself making this again.

Got my coupons & went to the store the other day to pick up the Suddenly Salad and other food to BBQ. My plan was to grill Pork Chops & serve sauted mustard greens and the Chipotle Rance flavored Suddenly Salad as a side. Well the best layed plans...go awry! Just as I went to turn on the gas grill outside last night it started pouring. My DD needed to be at a friends house for a school project in an hour and a half so our dinner time was limited. So I changed it up & made the Suddenly salad warm with turkey hot dogs mixed in! I just added the cut up dogs to the boiling water along with the noodles halfway through the cooking time.  So then I had a one dish meal - my favorite kind! Less pots, pans & no grill to clean! DH & I thought it was yummy, though DD 9 thought it was little too spicy for her. I also picked up the Ranch & Bacon flavored SS and will make that hopefully another day this week with those pork chops or turkey burgers. Thanks!
