1 Beat the butter until creamy, 2 minutes. Add the sugars, beat for 2 more minutes. Mix in the peanut butter and egg. Mix together the dry ingredients - flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir the dry ingredients into the sugar butter mixture.
2 Wrap dough in plastic and refrigerate at least 3 hours.
3 Preheat oven to 375°F. Shape dough into 1 1/4 inch balls. Place about 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten in crisscross pattern with a fork. Bake until light brown, 9 to 10 minutes. Cool on baking sheets for a minute; transfer to rack to cool completely.
For chewier cookies, bake at 300°F for 15 minutes.
Yield: Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
TONY'S TIGER BITES 1 (10 oz.) pkg. (about 40) regular marshmallows1/4 c. butter1/3 c. peanut butter7 1/2 c. or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. Frosted Flakes Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until mixture is smooth. Add Frosted Flakes cereal, stirring until well coated. Using a buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture into a lightly greased 13"x9"x2" pan. Cut into bars.
Butter Pecan Cookies1 yellow or white cake mix2 eggs½ cup butter (1 stick)1 can (16 oz) Coconut-pecan frostingPreheat oven to 350. Mix with a spoon, cake mix, eggs, butter and frosting. Macadamia Nut Cookies1 yellow or white cake mix2 eggs1/3 cup vegetable oil1 cup white chocolate chips or chunks½ cup chopped macadamia nutsPreheat oven to 350. Whit a spoon, mix cake mix, eggs, and oil together. Stir in white chocolate and nuts. Drop dough balls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-12 minutes or till light golden brown around edges. Removeto rack to cool. One cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips or chunkscan be substituted.
Peanut Butter Bites1/2 cup sugar1/2 cup light corn syrup1 cup peanut butter2 cups rice cerealCombine sugar and syrup in a medium saucepan; cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter, stirring till smooth. Stir in cereal. Drop mixture by tablespoons onto wax paper. Let cool completely. Makes 3 dozen.
Peanut Butter Cookies
1 cup peanut butter (any kind)1 cup sugar (granulated)1 large egg
Preheat oven 350°F.Mix sugar and egg together, then add peanut butter. That's it. Now form into 1" balls an press with fork. Dip fork in a little sugar so it won't stick.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350°F.

Note: Dough can be tinted with food coloring.
Roll dough out to 1/8 inch thick. Dip cutters in flour before each use. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet on top rack of oven for 6 to 7 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. Makes approximately 3 dozen 3 inch cookies.
