TURKEY MEATBALLS ALFREDO

2 (12-oz) pkgs frozen Italian-style turkey meatballs

1 (16-oz) jar Alfredo pasta sauce

1/2 tsp crushed dried Italian herb seasoning

2 cups hot cooked whole wheat noodles, optional

1/4 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese

2 Tbs chopped fresh basil

Place the meatballs in the bottom of a 3-1/2 quart or larger slow cooker.  Combine the pasta sauce and Italian seasoning.  Spoon over the meatballs.  Cover and cook on LOW for 8-9 hours or on HIGH for 4-5 hours.  Place the hot cooked noodles on each of 4 serving plates, if using.  Top with the meatballs and sauce.  Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese and basil.  Serve immediately.

There are around 30 meatballs to a bag. I only use 1 bag and it's plenty. If you're adding lots of vetetables, you need another jar of pasta sauce. I don't do the noodles but add rice as a side and Italian green beans.

Great tips:)  Thanks!!  The rice sounds like it would go good with this dish, too.

It sounds good.  Of course anything alfredo usually is wonderful.
