When you do your meal planning...?

Do other members in your family help or do you do it all yourself?

I might ask them if there is something they are in the mood to eat or drink before I go do my monthly shop, so I can work it into the menu. Otherwise no, its all me. My Dh does help with the shopping day though.

I try to do it weekly. I buy enough stuff to make a weekly menu. I ask everyone if there is anything special they have in mind and go from there.

 Sometimes someone will ask for something, and I'll fit that into the plan, but usually it's just me doing the planning, depending on what produce is in season and what is on sale.

I ask the kids what they would like. And then make a list.

Same as above...I ask for input and go from there.

 On Thursday night or Friday morning, I start making out my grocery list and begin that by coming up with meal ideas. The kids and husband are asked for input, too, unless I already have a week's worth in mind.

I usually do it by myself.  Sometimes I'll ask the kids what type of chicken dish or pasta dish they would like but I make the menu and do the planning. I usually make my meal plan on Thursday night or Friday morning and I grocery shop on Friday after work.

For now it's all on me. DF is no help at all! And my kids are still small, although DD has made a few requests before.
