Do you have any dinnerware that belonged to an older relative?

If so, do you use them or keep them for nice?!

I have a lot of my grandma's stuff and I don't use it. Maybe when my kids are older but certainly not now. :o)

My mom gave me her china that she got from her first marriage (to my dad), but I keep it stored at her house right now.

I have several individual pieces that were passed on to me, display only. I have a set that belonged to my husband's mother, then went to his sister and she gave to me.It only gets used on special occasions, but though there are many pieces, there are only 7 plates, so that restricts it's use. I tried using it one time for Christmas dinner, interspercing it with my fine china, ivory with a gold rim, which coordinates, but people were practically fighting over who got to sit with the older plates, so that was the last time that happened. lol
