These deep freezer posts got me to thinking.

Do you buy in bulk at places like Sams or Costco?

If so, what items do you typically buy?

yes- anything that we need. there are a few things that my girlfriends and i split. but you have to know prices- cause bulk items are not a great deal. lol like sugar at sam's right now

I buy beef, chicken, and turkey, sausage, bacon and hotdogs in bulk from the meat locker. I buy veggies and fruits in bulk when I can from local farmers and orchards. Cheeses and such yes and no, I will if its a great deal, but usually its not, so I dont. Flour and cornmeal and honey, yes, at times, when I can.

We have a Costco membership but probably won't renew this year.  I don't buy much from them anymore.  I buy in bulk from http://www.azurestandard.com/, and we raise our own beef, pork, eggs and dairy and belong to a CSA for produce.  There's only 3 in our family but it's still worthwhile to buy in bulk, IMO.
