Pizza for the kids, soup and toast for me. I am still in pain from my back, chiropractor adjusted me and ordered lots of rest heat and ice and see her again tomorrow. Note to future self, skyscraper heals, and lots of walking on concrete as well as hefting around a forty lb almost five year old for an hour then picking up your fifty lb six year old WILL result in some majorly pulled back muscles:) just dont do it.

I hope you're soon feeling better. Back problems are no fun, but at least you know what caused it, and what you need to do to prevent it in the future.

My doctor told me I had to stop lifting them; that I had to learn to sit down and then let them crawl up on my lap. That's when they were little-I wasn't supposed to pick up over 20 lbs.  That worked well....at home. It's just so hard to do if you're out somewhere without a stroller.

I am actually very strong and its nothing for.me to lift fifty lbs with ease. My babies have been held and or carried since the womb lol its nohing.for them to come sit in my lap throughout the.day, so I dont think about it. I still want hold them and snuggle them, so when they ask I do lol. I do need to not carry them though, dh said he would have carried her had I asked but I didnt give it a thought. oh well, I feel much better now, and its getting me out of housework:) hehehehe muhahahahaha

DH always tells me, "you should have told me to lift that", but I just do things automatically and don't think of asking him to do something for me. Getting our of housework...gotta use those restrictions where they do the most good! lol
